A diya is lit with oil or ghee and a cotton wick. A tealight holder takes a small ready-made tealight candle, which is cleaner and easier for decor that is lit every evening. Most of our pieces take a standard tealight.
A tealight runner is a long lace base with several tealight cups and flowers set along it. It turns a dining table, mandir shelf or mehendi stage into a centrepiece without any arranging on your part.
Crystal and pearl holders sparkle the most when lit and suit wedding tables and Diwali. Gota and marigold holders bring colour to haldi and Navratri. Resin lotus holders glow through their petals, and evil eye holders double as return gifts.
Keep lit tealights away from curtains and fabric flowers. Our holders have a metal cup so the flame sits clear of the decoration. For spaces left unattended, such as a mandir overnight, use an LED tealight instead.
Some sets come with tealights, and the product page says so. Standard tealights fit every holder.
